One of the things we are best known for here in Lincoln is our estate sales.  Nearly each and every weekend of the year, 1500-1800 shoppers come through the doors of the estate sales we hold in our client’s homes.  We are thrilled to sell beautiful furniture, interesting antiques, vintage jewelry, cool clothing, and more.  But for us, it’s really not about the stuff.

Behind every estate sale is a family who is trying to empty out a home.  A home they have lived in for years.  A home that was the backdrop for family gatherings, holidays, and everyday moments that will continue to live on in the memory of our clients and their families.  Although our clients vary widely, they are all emptying out their home for one reason, and one reason only:  their family has been through a transition of some kind – change in health, move, illness or death.  Our estate sale services are about so much more than the objects for sale.  Our mission is driven by the people we serve – the families in transition.

So, when you shop at our estate sales, you’re doing so much more than a little treasure hunting on a weekend.  You are:

• Saving the environment (ensuring that these items, which still have use left in them, don’t end up in the landfill)
• Save some cash (you can buy beautiful things at a deep discount)
• Help a neighbor empty their home (sooner or later, we will all need to empty out a home, this is an opportunity to help a neighbor with their transition)
• Support a local business (we have 25 team members who make a living working for Changing Spaces SRS and providing this service to families in our community!)
